If I were to pick ONE historical photographer who could still strive in today's photo (and fashion) world, I immediately think of German-American fashion photographer Horst P. Horst.Retro master of light, colour and beauty, his name may not be as recognized as that of Richard Avedon or Annie Leibowitz, but his images are undeniably timeless.
With the come back of pin-up and rockabily trends in the fashion world, Horst is still, to this day, my most precious source of visual reference and inspiration. You rock, Horst!
His work is currently exhibiting at the Victoria and Albert Museum of Art & Design in London, England.
